youth. <br \/>Paul Weber came from a home with a strong Christian orientation. From his father, he learned blacksmith\u2019s and metalworking skills. In Cologne, he completed training as a musician. He wrote his own song texts, sang in the choir of St. Clemens Parish Church in Brackel, and also played the organ there. <br \/>He joined the Resistance group created by his neighbour Erich M\u00f6rchel (See link to Stolperstein for M\u00f6rchel, Flughafenstr. 80). <br \/>On account of his political activities, Pau Weber \u2013 along with around 300 other male and female members of the Resistance as well as slave labourers \u2013 was picked up by the Gestapo in February 1945 and shot in Rombergpark.<\/p><p>In the 1920s, Paul Weber lived first at Brackeler Hellweg 31 and later at Brackeler Hellweg 170, before moving to Brackeler Hellweg 252 in 1931 and then to Dorfstrasse 82 where, except for a break of one year in a sanatorium, he lived until his death.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-2d56f5d elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"2d56f5d\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-9d84aa8\" data-id=\"9d84aa8\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-999117b elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"999117b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Paul Weber, *21.2.1900 in L\u00fcdenscheid Flughafenstr. 50, Brackel map \u2192 Back to list overview Paul Weber had been a member of the Christian Metalworkers Association since his youth.
